Leeds have goals spree

Leeds got among the goals in their friendly in Belfast last night when they beat Glentoran 5-2. Leeds led at the interval with a fine solo goal from Connor but Blackledge, a recent Elland Road triallist, got bothy the Irish side's goals early in the second half to put them ahead. Leeds went on to win comfortably, however, with two goals from Worthington and one each from Butterworth and Burns before a crowd of about 8,000. "It was a good work-out and I was particularly pleased with the way the youngsters performed", said Allan Clarke, the Leeds Manager, "Seaman and Dickinson did particularly well."
